We run over 30 Team Strength sessions per week and now include Mat Pilates. Sessions are 45 minutes and scientifically designed for maximum results. Not us.. The growth of High Intensity Interval Training has been phenomenal over the past 5 years in Australia. LiFT is not HIIT. HIIT training can drive exceptional results but also has challenges due to the high impact on the body particularly through joints.
LiFT is the low impact, sustainable way of training that specifically targets your body composition. The format is based on achieving long term results. LiFT increases lean mass and burns fat leaving you feeling and looking great.
People train for a variety of reasons. 63% of Australians are clinically obese* (Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development). People need to exercise more and traditional methods struggle to yield the results they need. Some studies have also shown these methods to be unsustainable on the body.
We saw the opportunity to develop a workout that can really help people. A safe and sustainable method of training that targets body fat and increases lean mass.
This is simply the amount of muscle that your body sustains. Increasing your lean mass results in increasing your metabolic rate and subsequently burning off more calories – even while you sleep!
